PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

Greetings,

Thanks to IVY Tech for hosting, and all who were able to come out in October for our joint meeting with USGBC.  Our speakers gave great presentations on ASHRAE 90.1 and spoke on the importance for energy conservation in our building systems as the codes become stricter and stricter.   This year’s calendar is shaping up to be a great mix of fun events and technical meeting to learn more about ASHRAE and how it relates to the world around us.

If you or someone you know has never been to an ASHRAE meeting or attended in a very long time, I would like to invite those individuals to come to a meeting free of charge (RSVP requested).  If there is anyone who has question or comment regarding ASHRAE that would like to share, please feel free to send me an email at info@indyashrae.org or visit our website at www.indyashrae.org.  I encourage you to bring a co-worker or friend to a meeting.

Would your company be interested in sponsoring one of our monthly meeting?  Sponsoring companies will be given space in the monthly newsletter for a write up as well as a display setup at the meeting.  Please contact me for more information on how you can support the local ASHRAE chapter.

Be sure to register now for the upcoming Midwest Healthcare Trade Show the Indiana Convention Center, Thursday, November 13th, 2014.

Sincerely,

Mike East   (Mike.east@redimond.com)
